I live near the McKenzie River in Oregon. My family loves the outdoors. We enjoy hiking,whitewater rafting,exploring the woods. Also, day trips to the beach and the city as well. We are an animal loving family and share our home with dogs, cats and chickens.

Often, I will share my received mail with my kids, who enjoy looking on the map to find new places. Or with my Mom, who is now home bound and enjoys seeing little bits of creativity! And, we all enjoy hearing about what it's like where you are...

I am new to swap bot, but have been an avid snail mailer for more years than I care to count.

Favorite colors: cobalt and turquoise

Favorite Teas: spicy tea or white tea... No Allergies ,so I'm up for trying anything!

Artsy Hobbies: jewelry making, woodworking,learning to crochet, also learning about using lichens and mushrooms as sources for natural dyes... Basketry, Mosaic (I've only done one, but it was my own free flow design that covered two walls and a shower floor ) - and I've got another in the "mulling it over " stage

Gardening: love ornamental trees. My faves are the ones I can plant and forget about (just an occasional water and stand back to admire!)

Roses, Orchids and Dogwoods are my favorite flowers.
