I'm Daniela, I'm 22, I live in downtown Sacramento with my fiance Flash, and I love all things artsy and booksy. I love love love tattoos and I'm working on getting a half sleeve completed. I'm crazy for mermaids - in fact, the half sleeve I'm working on has a giant mermaid in it right now. I go all squealy when I see puppies or kittens. I pride myself on being a big giant nerd and surprising people when they learn that I know about Civil War being terrible and making no sense. I'm in love with Star Wars and Xmen most of all. I adore the Legend of Zelda. I love cigarettes and coffee. I work lots and I hate it, but in my free time I read comic books, go to local punk rock shows, and the general hanging out with friends spiel. I'm part Japanese, and I've always been interested in what I feel really kind of lame calling "my heritage." Asian things are rad. I really like to paint things and make old things look new again. It's like getting new stuff, but for free!

Local bands. Punk. Ramones, Misfits, Social D, Groovie Ghoulies, Horrorpops, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, The Phenomenauts. I fully support local music of any town. I don't like hip hop, pop, rap, or country.

Neil Gaiman is my favorite writer - I love his comics most of all, but his novels are also rad. My favorite comics include Xmen, Sandman, Green Lantern, Batman, Sin City, Fables, Preacher... this list goes on and on forever. Oh, and I love classic literature: Dickens, Poe, Grimm's Tales, Hemingway. Fantasy too: LOTR, Raymond Feist, anything really with knights and elves and unicorns and dragons. Harry Potter, The Series of Unfortunate Events, and Artemis Fowl series all adorn my bookshelf. I love books so much that my one bookshelf, packed to the gills, is nowhere near enough space. I love books almost more than anything.

Best Movies of all time: The Little Mermaid, Mystery Men, Star Wars, Chasing Amy, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, Being John Malkovich, and Army of Darkness. LOVE: Zombie movies: Dawn of the Dead, 28 Days Later, Shaun of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead. Disney: The Little Mermaid, The Sword in the Stone, Beauty and the Beast, The Emperor's New Groove, Aladdin, The Lion King. Comic book movies: Xmen 1-3, Batman Begins, V for Vendetta, Ultimate Avengers, Fantastic Four. Love Kevin Smith flicks. All of 'em. HATE: Romantic Comedy. Overly dramatic and boring flicks.

I don't have tv right now because I don't like the idea of paying to watch it ... :) But I love to buy tv shows on dvd, like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Scrubs, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Spongebob, Fat Actress, South Park, the old Xmen cartoon, Seinfeld, The Tick. I hate Friends. I don't have any idea what's on tv nowadays.

Sewing, painting, playdoh, gingerbread crime scenes, stenciling, and attempting to draw tattoos. My friend and I like to do diy tshirt surgery with concert tees. We paint beer coozies and coffee tables, and paint canvases of sweet things made up like zombies.

Robots, slippers, lotion, lipstick, paintbrushes, baby animals, candy of all kinds minus coconut, baking, scary movies, cities, snow, beaches, skulls and polka dots, black/hotpink/limegreen, tropical fish, flat shoes, animal print, mermaids, lighters, asian coins, ridiculously brightly colored nail polish, chopsticks that I can eat with or put in my hair, cigarette cases, souvenir-y things from other places, nifty ashtrays, pretty much any teas (peach, white teas, and green teas are my fave), and flavored coffee.

Manga, anime, Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, football, farms, pastel, paisely, anything I have to dust, things that are not dishwasher safe, flannel, rainbows, nautical stars, scrapbooking, cookie cutter art, things that are nauseatingly cute or girly, sparkly lip gloss, blue eyeshadow, pop stars, rap stars, princess things, picture frames.
