I have a duplicate account @pandabee
23 March 2022
I figured out the email associated with the previous account but it is a deleted, and therefor unrecoverable, Gmail account.
I’ve messaged all previous hosts (and when I can, swap partners) to clear up old swaps. Many are predictably inactive. Because I cannot access the old account I cannot directly view my swaps & partners. I will also be unable to mark previous swaps as Sent but will continue trying to make them up anyway.

That account is partially suspended and has three “1” ratings.
Admin has been notified to complete a merge and work is ongoing to rectify missing swaps and ratings.
Regarding this profile, I am completing those swaps for which partners have already been drawn. I have personally notified coordinators of the situation and will not be joining any new swaps until this can be addressed.
Gory Details
Another user messaged me that I appeared to have a duplicate account. I honestly did not recall and asked for the username. In the couple days it took to hear back I emailed Admin, assuming whatever sleuthing had been done to identify my duplicate account could also be done by Admin. I have not heard back about merging but understand that to be typical as they have a heavy workload.
In the meantime I did also try to recover the username by logging in with my two email addresses and selecting “forgot password.” That was fruitless. I searched all the notes I keep on accounts as well as saved emails and documents going back about a decade. I did not turn up any Swap-bot results. When I came to Swap-bot a couple months ago I did think I was creating a “brand new never been here before” account and was surprised to see I had created one in 2017.
My original pandabee account was created around the time of my oldest kiddo’s birth in 2012. That was a very difficult time in my life, though looking through the profile one could hardly tell. I had pretty severe postpartum depression. That is the only thing I can point to as to why I’ve forgotten swapping. Though…
I see that I did log in again in 2015 and try to rectify some of my 1s, based on comments made on the ratings. When I made this account a couple years later, in 2017, that was where the deceit likely occurred. I was much closer to having been active and it explains why I didn’t include my birthday and used a nickname, both of which I changed when I came back this year.
NOTES
The Pinterest linked in my pandabee profile is not mine. It must have gone defunct and been claimed by another user.
Without knowing the email used to create the original account I am unsure how to log in and begin clearing things up. Most of the users have not been active in the last year at any rate.
It was implied that I may have even more accounts. It is possible but I seriously doubt it (I’m not organized enough). I plan to work with Admin to resolve the question.
Vintage lover & kitschy crafter. I’m a nearing 40 mom of two. My working life was in libraries but I’ve been a stay at home parent for the last few years. I’ve been selling vintage items on various online platforms during that time.
I am a fan of birds, books, especially literary fiction, new blank journals (I always have too many), needlepoint, and vintage puzzles.
I’m still quite new and will add information as needed or requested!
COLORS: I like almost all colors but am drawn to warm colors, especially burnt sienna, peach, oranges, mustard yellow and light pink.
POSTCARDS: Like modern & classic art or illustration, historic photographs, vintage (sent or unused). Do not like tourist postcards unless old
