ATTENTION I have had enumerous family illnesses both parental and children's. I have had a drastic cut in income, and will not be able to do very much for awhile. I have all address of people I still need to send things too. (Even the one from Australia, who I sent a package to and she never got and was just down-right mean about it.) I am very sorry for any frustration I have caused. It was entirely unintentional, but to be honest...with all the things I've been going through these past few months...this site was one of the last things I had on my mind. =(

I'm the single mother of 5 boys, and a full-time college student (my major is Spanish Education, my minor is Interactive Digital Media).

That being said; I find my relaxation in crocheting and art, as well as bead work and many other varied crafts.

Other hobbies I enjoy are: reading, walking, camping, fishing, golf, movies and mauch more. I've been toying with the idea of scrapbooking and have started cutting out squares for a quilt (but that will be a slow undertaking!).

I adore music! my favorite styles of music range from classic rock, rock-a-billy swing, country western, blugrass, modern rock and some hip-hop...to bachata, cumbia, salsa and merengue. =) I also enjoy Christian rock and hymns.

I am an avaricious reader. My favorite types of books to read are: fantasy, DIY, cook books (I collect these!), and some romances...but not the ewwy gooey ones.

--J.R.R. Tolkien books (I'm a modern day Hobbit!)

--Eragon, Eldest and Brisingr....can't wait for the fourth in the series

--Monty Python's Holy Grail (and all other Monty Python films to be exact)

--Eragon (I like dragons!)

--all LOTR movies

I am a "reality" TV junkie. Give me a TV and: Survivor, Amazing Race, Project Runway, Hell's Kitchen, The Apprentice (and all spin offs)...and any other's I can find time to watch!

--I've started to take up quilting..we'll see how that goes.

I collect cook books, shoes and men....ok maybe not men, but the other two for sure! =)

I also collect:postcards of places, dragons, fairies, elephants (with trunks upturned), and roosters & hens

--When it comes to colors I like deep, rich, vibrant colors...my favorite being Purple. (However, I am a sucker for all shades of pink..but shhh..that's my secret!)

--I like delicate things like figurines and chachky-esque things.

--Candies I like tend to be mints and cherry flavored and lemony things. (Chocolate is only a once of month craving kind of thing for me..unless it contains raisins { I like raisins!! yummy!}.) I also adore jelly beans and spicey gum drops

--Animals: cats (my cats have opposable thumbs!), dogs (labs and huskies and corgies), and polar bears

--I like flowers and trees and forests..my family and I are camping and fishing type people.

--No morbid, goth or emo things please

--No cows please (unless they are purple!)

--Vanilla scented items (they give me a headache and make my allergies go whacky!)

I have 5 wonderful, creative sons! They have all started making ATCs along with me. =) They are:

--Trinidad, age 14, b-day Jan. 9th, likes:dragons, swords, star wars..fave color is blue.

--Eduardo, age 12 3/.4, b-day Mar. 26th, likes:outdoors, hunting, elephants (trunks up for luck!)..fave color is Cammo.

--Joseph, age 10 1/2, b-day Jun. 4th, llikes:horses, skateboards, basket ball...fave color is black.

--Jacob, age 8 1/4, b-day Nov. 10th, likes: horses, animals, art...fave color is pink.

--Nikolas, age 6 3/4, b-day Apr. 30th, likes:horses, john deere, trains (especially thomas)...fave color is green.

If anyone has a child who has similar interests or want a pen pal just let me know, and we'll see what we can do!
