I love crafting & receiving mail! I've befriended our postal worker who I bribe with cookies & wine to deliver all my goodies. One of my resolutions is to be more inspired & what better way than swapping?!?! So I'm looking forward to making new friends!

Me?? We have a cat & I had a German Shepard who's staying with my folks since we moved to our very own- first!- home. I'm newly engaged & stressed out in planning the wedding stuff. But my escape is my craft area- even though it's out of boxes & bags right now. I am obsessed with organization which annoys the heck out of my people who insist on moving things just to see if I notice. (I do.)

I love photography & have a gallery show coming up in February. I've won a bunch of awards & really enjoy the taking pictures but not so much the editing & organizing. It's one of my New Year's resolutions though to keep up with the multitude of pictures.

Oh, and I really, really love getting mail! So much so that as a child I wanted to be a postal carrier!

I adore music- from rap to "oldies", if I can sing along or dance, it's perfect!

I have been big into Sci Fi & Esoteric History lately. Anything mysterious or fascinating keeps me going. If you can't question the universe, what can you question?

Ok, I'll admit it- I'm a huge Disney fan. Ariel is my favorite princess & yes, I can sing every song by heart. I like mooshy movies & action movies with fun graphics though. I try to keep an open mind to anything without too much gore.

I'm so sad they've taken off Pushing Daisies. The colors on that show we're moving in each & every scene. But until they bring it back, I'll have to say Corner Gas- you have to love Candian humor!

I'm huge into photography but it's a tough sell- especially when my community is a huge photo community (tough competition in the arena). I adore papercrafting when my hands don't cramp up & when they do, I crochet to relax them. I also paint, sketch, and scrap! I'd like to learn to knit this year too.

I see some of the swap listings kind of ban newbies. I guess you can't blame the coordinators since people can flake. However, as an upstanding crafter & local volunteer I'm giving myself the seal of approval. Plus I'm a giver who loves suprises! You just can't go wrong with that combination!

I'm really excited about the Monster Swap- I've been plotting with my better half about moster bio's & colors.

While I live in MD, I'm actually not a native. As a military brat, I've been pretty much everywhere in the US. I love, love, love southern food so I'm hoping I get a partner from the south :) I would really enjoy spices or a snack food & a recipe since we're still stocking our kitchen. FYI, I am allergic to pecans so please for my doctor's sake, no odd nuts pretty please!

I really enjoy puzzles! Word puzzles especially circle-a-word are my secret passions. But like a few people on the board mentioned, I too am not a fan of crosswords. I rock at Scrabble but give me a clue & I'm lost somehow! Sodoku is pretty cool too but I usually end up setting them down somewhere & doing chores when I get frustrated. I'm not very good at those :) I usually get the inexpensive little books at B&N that have assorted word puzzles in case you need another source for a fix!

My favorite colors are red & green but our house is filled with bright colors. I adore mint- mint candies, mint candles, mint money :)

We are very environmental with recycling & we're going to do a huge garden & start composting this Spring so send unusual & funny tips please.
