Hello. My name is Amy. I'm so excited to try this out!! I have been sending snail mail for years and just love the new resurgence. Besides writing and sending mail, I'm an avid reader and coffee drinker. :) I work with children with special needs, my specialty is autism as it hits very close to home. I am a bit obsessed with steam-punk, Dr. Who, Disney and collect Funko pops! I live in Las Vegas with my two kids, 4 pups, 3 fish, 2 tortoises and very understanding partner! I'm excited to get started. 😊

Favorite Music: Well that's a list and a half! I have very eclectic tastes ranging from Josh Groban to Evanescence. I love musical theatre! I am currently obsesses with Post Modern Jukebox.

Favorite Books: I love to read. I generally read 3 books at a time. Right now I am reading a mystery novel that takes place in a coffee shop, The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making, and The Son of Neptune.

Some of my very favorites are The Guernsey Potato Peel Pie Society, The 13th Tale and Fried Green Tomatoes. I just love to read and will try anything once.

Favorite movies: If you haven't noticed a theme here....I love movies!! Breakfast at Tiffany's, Singing in the Rain, to Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, to Amalie, to The Conjuring. I love to be scared, I love to be in awe, I just love the cinematic experience. Love anything by Hayao Miyazaki. Not to mention HUGE DISNEY FREAK. Currently loving the comic books coming to life on the big screen!

Favorite Television: I am not a HUGE TV person. When I do watch it I want smart writing and good characters. I love Suits, Once Upon a Time, and competition shows like Face/Off, Top Chef and Project Runway.

Favorite Crafts: I make jewelry! I love to make jewelry. However, I am a pintrest addict and I am trying my hands at a couple of different things. Like making my own cards and envelops. I am slowly stepping into smashbooks.

Swap: Since I am new to this, I really don't have a lot of "taste" preferences. I am sure that will change as I continue to swap out goodies! Here are a few ideas:

• Animals

• Fantasy (fairies, dragons, castles etc)
• Coffee
• Anime Just to name a few....

Other: Well there are a lot of "other" I love to eat and am especially fond of dessert. I love comic books and can keep up in a conversation often surprising a lot of people. It's pretty funny. I love girlie things (fashion, shoes, purses), but am a bit of a goth as well. I'm just a huge walking contradiction and refuse to be pigeonholed into one thing.
