Hey folks!

Allie here! I'm 30 living and working in my home town of Edinburgh, Scotland. I've travelled about a bit but always end up coming home. I fell in love with Edinburgh when we settled down here when I was a kid and I absolutely adore this city. I've previously lived in New Zealand, Cyprus and all over the UK. But as I say Edinburgh I home and its great to be back here.

I work for Historic Scotland as a castle steward in a small baronial castle just outside Edinburgh city centre. I get to run about with castle keys for a living and its fab! I love quirky vintage images vintage horror and all sci-fi as well as graphic novels,gaming and arts and crafts.

Halloween is absolutely my favourite holiday and I love anything Halloween-y! I love fantasy creatures and fairy tales.

In my spare time I am a writer, illustrator and journal keeper. I love books (all kinds), music (all kinds) and journaling. I create custom journals for friends, myself and the occasional commission. Love book making and ATCs.

My favourite animals are pandas, cats (big and domestic) and I absolutely love dogs and wolves. I am terrified of moths and I think that Clowns are the spawn of satan- so you could probably put them in the dislike category ;)

I studied music at uni and although it is more of a hobby than a career choice these days I stil love playing. I play flute, saxophones and I sing quite a bit too. Books are an absolute passion as well as vinyl records...i was probably born in the wrong decade haha.

Style wise like I say love quirky stuff. But kawaii cuteness and vintage ephemera is also a win. I am very easy to please and use almost everything in journal making and art journaling. I'm looking to get into knitting and crochet but not sure where to start. Any tips would be awesome.
