I want to do a Happy Holidays swap that allows us lots of creativity and a chance to try a number of things suggested by many of you in the group ideas thread. This is what I came up with: From only one sheet of double sided scrapbook paper, make one of these cute little mini books with pockets for your partner (this tute is provided as a starting point only). ADDED OCT. 2: If you prefer printed instructions, look here. This book is made basically the same way as in the other tutorial, it is just bound/finished differently. Decorate your book as you like and then fill each of the 8 pockets with one little thing. Please note for filling the pockets:
Ideas for filling the pockets: This is supposed to be a little Happy Holidays gift for our partner, so please gift wrap it. Tissue paper is light and this should not cost a lot to mail anyway. I see this as having 2 possible themes:
If you have a preference, please post your chosen theme below. If not, it will be sender's choice. I have set the dates early in the hope that everyone will receive their swaps before the holiday rush and well in time for the holidays. Please pm me if you have any questions as I do not check my swaps every day. Thx. |
