Ok I have just set myself up on Tumblr and would like some more people to follow and more people to follow me. So if you have a blog on Tumblr this is for you. For this swap all you will do is follow your partner's on Tumblr and if possible leave a comment on their most recent post. Simple. Leave the link to your Tumblr in the comment section below. Check out Tumblr here Anyone may join this swap as long as you have no 1 or 3 ratings in the last 6 months. If you do have a 1 or 3 rating within the last 6 months and really want to join, please PM me about the reason for the rating. I will then reconsider letting you into the swap. However if you have flaked on me or any of my hosted swaps in the past you are automatically banned. I hate to ban, but I will be completely checking out profiles, and I will ban if I have to do so.

do we really need to follow that persons tumblr? because i think we should only follow if we actually like the blog. i've been on a swap like this before, except that we only need to like a few posts

If that's what the swap hostess wants for this swap, it's what she wants, @anditriangle I've seen a few other swaps (blogspot swaps included) that mention following the blog/tumblr as well, so It doesn't seem that out of the ordinary to me.

One can always unfollow if it turns out someone's Tumblr doesn't fit in on one's dash, correct?

I think it's important to note that Tumblr doesn't have commenting. You can reply to some posts, but sometimes only after following that blog for a few weeks. Could you clear that up in the swap rules, @Carolinev237

Thank you all for your input. As I said I am new to Tumblr and did not realise about the commenting. So in this case you will need to follow your partner's Tumblr, to get rated. You can however unfollow after rating as @tishous said. I have edited the swap x

Then the ratings are basically empty ratings if anyone can just unfollow after receiving the rating they got for following. What would be the point?

I would hope people would carry on following but I can't make them. All the blog swaps I have seen mention following and leaving a comment, however if leaving a comment is not possible then following is the only option. I have always carried on following the partner after a swap, but whether any participants of this swap do is up to them x
