Description: | |
If your child is anything like mine, then this swap is for you. Every time I get a swap in the mail, she tells me how much she wishes she was old enough to do swapbot. So this swap is for her all the children of swappers who would love to have a turn. Although this swap is for your child, you MUST be willing to angel for them and come good for your swap partner's child if they can't get it together. Your rating must be 5 as I can't bear the thought of any dear ones being flaked on. This is an opportunity for your child to learn about following through with a project and to appreciate the importance of GIVING as much as receiving. So, YOU will make a spot in your profile which says something like Children's Profile Swap and they can list items they might like to receive as well as some of their likes/dislikes and if they like, a little about themselves. Then, when the partners are assigned, your child can read about their partner and prepare a lovely gift for that person. In the parcel, they should include a letter written by them about these things:
This is an international swap. Since postage costs are high, the minimum requirement will be one business sized envelope of goodies, although of course you can send more if you want to. If you have more than one child who wants to participate you can make a profile note for them and it will be up to your partner if they are willing to take on more than one child. It's the sender's choice. The swap is for one child to another, but you can negotiate with each other if you like. Happy swapping |
