Description:

I have noticed that a lot of swappers who host postcard swaps will write "no vintage... only store bought postcards allowed" I have quite a few vintage postcards and some of them are really cool! And besides, they were "store bought" at one time!

So...send one partner a vintage postcard IN GOOD CONDITION! This will be sender's choice! Make sure your profile is complete so your partner can share something interesting with you on the card.

Please find out from your partner if they would prefer that you not write anything on the back or if they would prefer that you send the postcard in an envelope.

Happy swapping! Newbies welcome!

I have used vintage at times, because as you say they were store bought as in no writing on the back.

Should the PCs be naked or in an envelope? Sometimes with vintage cards, it's nice to keep them blank, as well as safe to send them packaged up.

Thanks for your comments guys...I will leave how they are sent up to the partners. Editing swap now...

To save my partner time asking, I just thought I'd say it here: For vintage PCs, I definitely prefer mine blank and sent in an envelope. Thank you!

what age is "vintage"? I have cards from 70,80,90

Babytreese 07/ 6/2011 #

That is a good question Soulcracked...normally vintage is 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's...I have some dated in the 20's in very good condition...80's and 90's probably wouldn't constitute vintage...but that is my opinion...

Any other opinions are welcome...
