Description: | |
For this swap, you will be assigned one (1) partner and will make four (4) zentangles. One for each of the seasons: winter, spring, summer, and autumn. Colours: You will use a different colour for each zentangle. Colour is up to you, but should be related to the season. You can either use a coloured pen on a white background, or a black pen on a coloured background. Size and background: Each zentangle should be on a separate card. Cards should be approximately 5'' x 5'' or 12cm x 12cm. Try to use cardstock, thick drawing paper, or if you choose plain paper, then back it up somehow. Pattern: Be creative! This is completely up to you. Patterns can be season-related, or not at all. Shaped as in the example above, or as something completely different. Try not to fill up the entire card though, to allow for a natural framing, and don't forget to sign each piece! You can also include the name of the season in your design if you want. Have fun with this, let your inner artist express itself freely! This is for all levels, beginners as well as advanced drawers. But try and make something pretty! Something that your partner may want to frame? :) Include a note for your partner explaining your thoughts behind your four designs and choice of colours. This is my first time hosting. Hoping I'm not stealing anyone's idea. If I am, all my apologies in advance, I promise it would be a pure coincidence :) Newbies welcome after 5 completed (and rated) swaps. Minimum 4,5 rating. If you have any ones, please send me a message. I hope that many will join me! I have created a Flickr group for this swap. Hope that you will upload your pictures once you're done so we can all get inspired!! :) |
