Description:

Do you love ATCs?

Do you love fabric, sewing and embellishments?

Then this is the swap for you!

1) Make 1 fabric ATC to send to each partner (a total of 2 ATCs).

2) Fabric ATCs are 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches, include a piece of fabric, one sided fusible batting, and a cardstock backing. You may also use a stiff fusible, a fabric backing and write on it with permanent fabric marker.

3) Fabric ATCs are hand or machine sewn (patchwork, appliqué, thread painting, embroidery, beadwork, buttons, charms, ... embellish them to your heart’s content or not).

4) Be sure to write the following on the back, the name and number of the ATC, date made, artist name and location (e.g. Cat #1, May 2010, Sassy Susie, Stanton, South Dakota).

5) This MONTHLY SWAP is the sender’s choice, NO THEMES, but looking at your partners’ profiles to see what they have a passion for is advised. Enjoy letting your creative juices flow!

6) Be sure to include a note with the name of this swap and your Swap-bot ID.

7) The Fabric ATC Pictured above, Tiled Garden, is my handiwork and I will be sending this out to my 2 partners for this month's swap.

Participant Screening:

Must be able to sew by hand or machine.

Must have a fully completed profile (not just a few lines).

Must have completed the CQ 30+ type 3 swaps, have a 4.9+ status and no unexplained 1 or 3’s.

I will list all flakes and will angel, but I trust that won’t be necessary.

This is the Crafting Queens swap for fabric ATCs, that formerly and successfully ran on public swaps. I also run a feeder swap for newbies on the public swaps on the same topic. If you sew and know how to make fabric ATCs please join in the fun. If you are new to this craft, directions can be found on my website. A link to my website can be found on my Swap-bot profile page.

Unfortunately, I must ask my fellow Canadians not to join the swap this month due to the postal strike. I live fairly close to the states and I have a friend who works across the border who will mail things for me, but that is not usually the case. Canadian swappers please contact me prior to joining. Thanks, LPV.

As for me getting my partner's ATCs that they send me. I promise to not rate down if they are late, which I never really do anyway, because if they are late it will be due to the strike.

Watching for now hoping the stike will be resolved before sign up deadline. I just prepared my First Fabric ATC for round #12 and enjoyed it.

Do I qualify for this swap? Not sure what "Must have completed the CQ 30+ type 3 swaps" means. PM me please?

If you are a Crafting Queens member in good standing, then you have completed 30 or more type three swap. Type three swaps are swaps that have a craft element and may at times require additional postage.

If you get me as a partner please do not mail my swap to me untile the postal strike here in Canada is over. Thanks! As I said above I will not rate down.
