This swap is for all crocheters to get what we really want for Christmas, supplies! For this swap we will fill a HANDMADE standard-size Christmas stocking with yarn, hooks, stitch markers, scisors, notepads, pens, markers, and anything else that can be used by crocheters. You may also add items of your choosing based on your partner's profile. The stocking must be knit, crocheted, sewed, felted (unless your partner does not like felted objects or is allergic to wool), or otherwise handmade. Please no store-bought stockings. There are many free patterns to be found online. I would say to make the stocking at least 12" tall and 6" wide. If you are so inclined to make the stocking larger, feel free to do so as long as you realize you may not get back a 3' stocking in return. I would like everyone to stuff these stockings. I do not want to see just two or three items in the stocking. This should be a fairly-high dollar item swap, so please no newbies. I am going to have to restrict this swap to those with complete profiles and AT LEAST 5 hearts (hearts gained through e-swaps will not count). I will give you until the last day to sign up to collect those hearts and then I will go through all the members to be sure everyone complies before I assign partners. Please be aware of any fiber allergies your partner may have, and please do not send acrylic yarn. I want this to be a QUALITY swap. The entire stocking and contents should be worth a MINIMUM of $35. Please be sure to send your stockings by December 7th. I want everyone to have these before Christmas. If you are unable to make this deadline for any reason, please contact both your partner and me. This is an INTERNATIONAL swap. Please contact me with any questions you may have, and please have fun! |
