This is a celebration of poetry was first introduced in 1996 by the Academy of American Poets as a way to increase awareness and appreciation of poetry in the United States. It is celebrated every April in the United States and (since 1999) in Canada as well. Since 2000 Great Britain has celebrated a National Poetry Month each October. Thanks and a shout out to all those who participated in my World Poetry Day and Tea Swap. For this swap, you will send each of your two partners a poem and one serving/bag of tea. Your poem can be created by you, inspired by your parnters' profiles or a favorite of yours, borrowed from another poet. It can be a word or picture poem. Be creative and come up with something fun to celebrate National Poetry Month. The tea you send is sender's choice, but please check profiles for allergies or noted extreme dislikes. Tea should be packaged/sealed but not loose. No swappers with lower than a 4.8 or recent 1's or 3's. I will angel if you get nothing from either partner. No flakers, please. Please rate a 5 if get you a poem and tea. If you get extra's or extra effort was put into your package, please give a heart. |
