Description:

First of all, thank you very much for the successful “Tea & Heart Lover’s Swap International #1”. We had 56 participants from 18 different countries. Yeah!!

My daughter (who introduced me to swap-bot) and I had been having wonderful tea time together for sometime however; she will be in Japan for study abroad by this swap deadline. I’ll miss her dearly but maybe she will be able to recruit more swappers from Japan. 

For the people new to this swap: It’s basically a simple tea swap: you send four different tea bags to three people. Tea is sender's choice. So if you drink decaf tea only or hate 'plain' teas, this swap is not for you. (I can't see anyone purchasing four different decaf tea boxes for no other use.) However, that being said, please let your partner know if you have any allergies or anything like that so they can do their best to accomodate. Loose tea and non-individually packed tea are acceptable as long as they are individually wrapped or bagged with copies of original tea boxes or tin cans so that receiver knows exactly what tea came from what company.

A little DIFFERENCE is, read your partner's profiles and send something (nice note, ATC, postcard, a cute sticker, little candies, etc.) to make that person's day a little brighter. Monetary value is not important.

THE CRITERIA OF THIS SWAP IS SEND SOMETHING FROM YOUR HEART TO MAKE YOUR PARTNER HAPPY ALONG WITH FOUR TEA BAGS OF YOUR CHOICE.

I understand giving hearts are receiver's discretion. However, if the package you received is more than basic, please keep it in mind that receiving heart means a lot to many people. (By the way, receiving stars mean a lot to me, too. :)

IF you have perfect 5 rating, you are accepted automatically. If you don’t fall in this category by any reasons, please make sure PM me first. I take this swap very seriously and I believe I’m responsible for who I should welcome in this swap. Therefore, I will check everybody’s profile carefully. I will welcome everybody whom I feel comfortable even if the person is newbie or has less than 5 rating after PM correspondences.

In the event I misjudge any swappers in this swap, I'll angel you no matter what. Please PM me if you don’t receive your swap by the end of the swapping month. Also IF any unforeseen problems arise and you will not be able to fulfill your responsibility as a swapper after the partner assignment, please PM me right away. I’ll send a package for you.

This is a monthly swap: Sign Up deadline at the end of each month and swap deadline on 7th of the following month.

Hoping all the Tea & Hearts lovers from all over the world will join me. Love, Paula

PS So far, we have swappers from: Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Romania, Sweden & US

Haha, oddly enough I will be in Japan too by the time this swap starts and ends! :D Otherwise I'd totally join, looking forward to more like this one!

I'll be in Japan also and I'm planning to send tea from there this time. Hopefully, I'll get green tea lovers as my partner since they have so many different & great green teas there. :) I may be able to get cherry blossom tea..... since it will be cherry blossom season there.

Hello from Japan! Japan is now very hard...my heart is really heavy right now. Please pray for us!

Tanika 03/17/2011 #

@ Whiterose ! It was horrible news last Friday. We think a lot about the Japanese people ! I have two penpals in Japan and luckily they live far from the epicenter and the area with the nuclear installations, but it's still hard for them as well. Wishing you lots of courage and strength !!

Yay, you're hosting it again! This is great, I'm looking forward to round 2, because round 1 was really amazing (except for one envelope I haven't received yet)

I am really looking forward to this swap. I love all tea swaps :)

To all the people in this swap: Sorry, I haven't been a good swap host this time.... I was totally overwhelmed with the catastrophes in Japan. Thank god, my families there are all OK.

My heart and prayer go to the people who are affected in this tragedy. And my appreciation goes to the people all over the world who have been supporting them by caring, donating, praying, helping etc.

@Fever & Justsaysmith, Thank you for the nice comment!! I really appreciate it.

Seems like, I do have one flaker myself so I’ll check what’s going on with swap #1. If you were flaked, I’ll angel you for sure!!

RadicalRecrafter 03/29/2011 #

I love tea! All tea except Earl Grey/Lady Grey (to which I am very allergic!) is fine with me! Green,white,black,herbal..yummy!

Aminomama 03/30/2011 #

@RadicalRecrafter After the partner assignment, please pm your partners about your allergy as soon as possible.... just to make sure they are aware of your condition.
