Date items must be sent by:April 11, 2011
Number of swap partners:10
Description:

I ran a similar swap in the Postage Stamps Crazy Collectors group and was asked to run it in public swaps too. To make it a bit easier to join I have split the stamps into several swaps running at the same time which are listed below. Join just one or all of them!

Okay the plan is this:

I need only one player per country.

List your country below when you sign up.

Every person that signs up will be your partner - whether it be 2 or 20 (I will edit the number of partners to reflect the number in the swap at the end). Then you send each person in the swap 10 animal stamps from your country. Not sure what fits the category? If it is listed elsewhere (eg birds) then do not send them here or contact me.

Usual rules -

  1. Stamps can be mint or used, on paper or soaked off.

  2. No damaged stamps

  3. Obviously you can send the same stamps to each partner but no duplicates within each pack.

  4. Try to include as many commemorative stamps as possible.

  5. Enjoy and remember because the swaps are running simultaneously the more of these swaps you join the cheaper the postage!

The swaps in the series are: animals, flowers, birds, insects and reptiles, landscapes and art works, sport and heads, festivals.

This is not profile based so you can start sorting your stamps into groups of 10 straight away!

I would love to do this as a traditional swap, but I don't think I could come up with 200 animal stamps if 20 people sign up!

do they have to all be from your country, the stamps? I would love to join but would have trouble finding 100 or however many animal stamps from England!

I think it is unlikely that 20 people will sign up! Normally I get around 4 or 5 for these types of swaps. If you like I can make it a max of 10 people in the swap? That would solve some problems? I will host another series of swaps later where the stamps can be world wide however I will finish these ones first!

Okies. I've managed to sort out the remaining lot of unpapered stamps that I have for the animal swap, I have about 10 x 10.. so I'm really hoping the swappers wont be more than 10..

Like @Musette asked, do they all have to me from the country where I live?!
