UPDATE::::::: In the back of your journal please also include your address and a note to send the journal home to you when it is full. Anyone can join these swaps at any time, and there is no sign that every journal sent out will get filled up and sent on, some journals might die out, but some could go on and get filled up and returned home. So be sure to include your name and address in the back so when it does get full you can get it back and see alll the wonderful places and people it is met.

I snagged my inspiration for this swap series from another hostess and swap that's running right now called Dear Diary.. Shared journal. With her permission I am going to go something similar.

For this swap you will get a journal, notebook, comp book something with 80 or more pages, on the cover, inside cover, back page, first page, somewhere i the journal, write you name, address and swap-bot name. In the first entry, write a little bio about yourself (about a page give or take) then on the following page you will write 1 journal entry. It can be about your day, about the world, your life, use a journal prompt, whatever you want it to be about. There will be a minimum of one page of writing, but more is always welcome. On the next blank page you will write one journal prompt and send it off to your partner. You are done, just wait to receive a journal in the mail.

This is going to be a series of swaps that will run monthly. You will have from now until the middle of March to send your journal, in the middle of March the next round will start. For those who will be taking part in the whole series, you will answer the journal prompt you received, journal one page yourself, then enter a new prompt and send it on. This will continue on so forth, maybe you will get your journal back, maybe you wont. Either way it should be fun!

Now the fine print: I will check profiles carefully, if you look fishy, and offer no explanation, i will ban. If you are new, have a VERY well filled out profile and at least 5 mail swaps completed.

I hope this all makes sense, and please feel free to ask any questions.

So are you ever going to be able to keep a journal? Perhaps if you get one that is filled? I love the idead but if you don't do every round isn't the journal just going to sit with like two entries at someone's house?

Yeah I am thinking that we should put at the end of the book please return home to... Maybe we could send it to our partner and they send it to their partner and that way we get it back :) Would be awesome

@lorijean a journal prompt is a question or topic that you give your partner for them to write about or answer. If you google journal prompts you will find some sites that will give you an idea
