Description:

Week in the Life of Lovely Randomness

Week of February 13-19: A Week in Colors

For each day this week, list one color that describes the day and offer a brief description why.

For example, today I would describe as pearl. It was frosty foggy this morning with the light shimmering off the wisps of fog as the sun unsuccessfully attempted to make an appearance. Or today is black. I bought that black sweater with the beaded trim that I've been hankering after, and it was on sale in my size!

For all of the WLLRs we will be required to list one thing each day, and comment on it. Use a composition book size page and write on only one side of the page. At the end of the week, we will send our list to our partner. It shouldn’t take too very much time out of our day, unless we have something to expound on, and will hopefully fit well into our regular journaling/self examination/reflection time. (If you don’t already schedule some of that time each day for yourself, I highly recommend it.)

This should be a fun way to get to know one another and if group members compile their collections we'll end up with our own group scrapbook/notebook/gluebook to commemorate our Lovely Randomness.

Group requirements apply. NO FLAKING!!! I will personally petition The Queens for torture and banishment of any flakers.

Okay so we will use a journal and make our list and send that to our partner right? Will they then make THEIR list in the same journal and send it on to the next person? So that we can all see them as we join? Like I might get a journal that has a color list from you a smile list from MarieAntoinette and a food list from MadQueen? Right?

You will only send the list, on one page (or however many pages you need to complete that list), and it will be up to your partners to compile the lists into a scrapbook/journal/gluebook. I tend to alter composition books into my journals, that is why the requirement for that size page. You can use any paper you prefer, just so it is trimmed to a 9.75" x 7.5" size. This should keep postage to a minimum. It will be at the discretion of the sender whether to fold the pages. If I have a page that is particularly embellished I would sent it flat, if it was only written, I would probably fold it. For this exercise, I anticipate that most of the pages would be mostly written and therefore foldable and able to be sent for a single first class stamp.
