Seven Days of Sketching

On seven different days, draw or sketch something around you. Examples might be the view from your window, a vase of flowers, a quick portrait of a friend or family member, a drawing of your pet… the subjects you choose are completely up to you, but it might be interesting if you choose a variety of different topics that will give your partner an idea of your life. You can choose your own medium; – pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, watercolours etc.

The Rules:

• One partner, International, to whom you send seven different drawings.

• Each drawing should be larger than an ATC; I’m not giving a specific size, but probably somewhere between A5 and A4. (Larger is OK, but might make it difficult to mail)

• Each drawing must be signed and dated, and given a title or brief description.

• If necessary, please spray your drawing with fixative to prevent it smudging.

• Each drawing must be of something real, drawn from life, not from a photo or your imagination.

• The seven days should preferably be consecutive, but I realise that’s not always possible so I’m allowing a few weeks, in case real life interferes. Also, being able to select your own seven days might mean you can choose some more interesting topics, e.g. on a day out somewhere.

• Full rating must be given for fulfilling requirements, even if the drawings aren’t very good!

• A Rating of at least 4.85 is required. Newbies might be allowed in at my discretion, but please send me a private message first so we can discuss your commitment to the project.
