Description:

Back In Black: Black/White/Grey Only Postcard Swap The theme for this swap is black and white artwork, excluding photographs.

For this swap, you will send 1 store-bought postcard to your 2 swap partners that is a work of art, sculpture, sketch, etching, or image that is ONLY a black and white work of art. (Greys that are also included in the art are acceptable.) No other colors should be included in the art except for black, white, and grey. Again, black and white photograph postcards should NOT be sent for this swap.

Your postcards will be stamped and sent naked (which means NOT in an envelope.) If your postcard does not clearly identify the work of art and artist, please include that information on your postcards to share with your partners. Please include a small note to make the postcard exchange a little more personable. No one wants to just receive mail that has your swap ID on it and nothing else.

New swappers are welcomed with a well-filled out profile. Other swappers with recent bad ratings will be banned from the swap. I will review absolutely all profiles, and I have the right to exclude anyone that I feel will be unable to fulfill this swap's requirements.

Feel free to message me with any questions or concerns. As always, thanks for joining!

So let me understand, it can be any postcard as long as it's in black and white? Cause I have some pretty neat black and white postcards but they are not art art (i.e: not van gough or anything like that)

Yes, Cathryn - anything in black/white as long as it is not a photograph. It does not matter if the artist is well-known or not.

Like a photograph that was printed from something we took? Or any photograph in general?
