There was a request for an international version...since I like to make people smile-here it is :) There is also a regional USA one too!

With Valentines Day around the corner-and love in the air. What better time to remember Juliet and the recent movie "Letters to Juliet"? Lovers from all over post letters on a wall in Italy to Juliet. A group of women take the letters down and answer them. For this swap you will place a spot on your profile entitled Letters to Juliet-in this section you will post a question to Juliet-it could be about romance, love, intimacy... whatever. Then your partner "Juliet" will answer you.

Juliets-when you have read your partner's question, you will make a page decorated/designed to represent Juliet. This can be scrapbooked, stamped, drawn, collage, painted, antiqued etc. to represent a letter from Juliet. After designing your page, you will respond to your partner's question. If you would like to decorate the envelope that is optional, but I am sure it would make a wonderful addition to a beautiful letter.

One partner (if this goes well I may try two in the future). Please make requests if your interested in two partners so I know for future hosting. Please have a 4.7 or higher rating and no recent 1's. I will angel or seek after angels if needed, but hopefully this will be a flaker free swap. I'll cross my fingers!

Newbies are welcome with a filled in profile. I will ban anyone that doesn't meet the requirements and I check all profiles so make sure yours is filled out, no recent 1's, and you have a Letters to Juliet section by the deadline date. If you are a newbie or have a less than 4.7 rating and feel you deserve an exception, please PM me. If there are any other questions please send me a message :)

I'm still waiting to join this swap. Can anyone give me an idea on how to get a heart when you join swap such as: letter, postcard, e-mail. I like my hard work to show up on my site and I find with these swaps I will get a 5 with no comment. The whole point to me is to do your best work, bless your partner and enjoy your ratings and comments people leave you. Any suggestions??

You can always send some extras! For a letter I would suggest some extra papers, stickers, ephemera, die cuts etc. to go with the theme of the letter or are profile themed-like tea or a certain collection-but still sending something flat so you don't overdue your postage. With postcards you could do the same or send an extra post card and some flat/paper goodies. On emails, that is hard-I would say extra info or maybe some links or something...you could also attach some pictures someone could use for crafting :) Hope this helps-love to see you in the swap-you sound like you put a lot of effort and love in-I like to also!!

I think that some people are jaded by the rating system. Everyone starts off being very generous with hearts, then people don't give them hearts, even though they poured their heart/soul into the swap, then they turn around and do the same to others. Its karma. The few raters who expect extras to get a heart are what make this website just a wee bit less fun. If you have filled the requirements and at least attempted to do it well. EX: A letter swap with the letter written on nice paper (NOT notebook paper), written with a pen (because pencil will fade over time), and maybe nice penmanship (if possible). Maybe even a decorated envelope, carefully packaged items. That is what deserves a heart. Extras shouldn't be required :P

I always comment with my rating, just so they know what I liked about their swap and such. I think it's a nice thing to do and I'd like the same.
