This swap was inspired by all of the other 100 swaps lately. I thought it would be fun to share a data CD with 100 of your all time favorite songs. Criteria: One Data CD with 100 favorite of your favorite songs. A written letter listing the 100 songs in order as they are placed on the CD. All genres of music accepted. Newbies allowed and a rating of 4.0 to join. This is an international swap. If you have any questions please drop me an email.

So, you mean this would be like 100 songs mp3 CD, is that correct, or do you just mean a text listing of a 100 of a person's favourite songs on a CD? These should be playable, right? So I'm assuming mp3 or wav format, right?

well, you could never fit 100 wav songs on a standard CD. using itunes, you can select the type of CD to burn, and 'data cd' is one of the types.

though, i'm not sure if 100 songs in data format can fit on one cd for sure.

misanthropic is right you can choose the data CD option when you go to burn your cd. Yes, you can have more than one song by the same artist. The only criteria is that the songs you choose are your favorites.

I'm pretty sure that 100 songs can fit if they're standard size (under 5 minutes, etc). I used to back up my mp3s onto CDs and I could usually get over 100 on a CD.

Hi,

I believe you can fit 100 songs on a CD. If I go over I will just send 2 CDs. I am excited too because I want to share the songs that mean alot to me and have touched me in some way. I also can't wait to see what my partners favorite songs are.

My CD burner automatically lists data (songs, folders documents, photos, whatever) in alphabetical order, not the order I prefer them or put them there. Can I list the order I would rank them in the letter, even if the CD has an alphabetical list?

i think this is a great idea, and i'll definitely send 100 songs, even if it's more than one disc (they're so cheap, it doesn't really matter.).
