5 Partner Swap

TO JOIN:

  • You must have an ETSY shop

  • You must have a Blog (any platform: Wordpress, Blogger, LiveJournal etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

When you sign up:

  • Post the address to your shop in the comment section below
  • Post the address of your blog in the comments below

When Partners are assigned:

  • Visit your partners' (all five) Etsy Shops
  • Choose 1 item from each shop you like to blog about
  • Create a post on your blog entitled "Kiwi's Etsy Love Swap #1"
  • Write about your partners' etsy shops, post back here in the comments when you have finished your blog post so that your partners can go read your blog and make sure their shop was included in your post so they can rate. Just a link to the post is sufficient here.

THE BLOG POST: This can be as simple as a link to your partners' shops (all five) with their name and what you liked, a simple paragraph or two. OR it can be an elaborate post with photos from your partners' shops, links to specific items you liked ect.

RATING: rate based on your shop being included in your partners' blog posts (there will be 5 mentioning your shop). When you go to "See the partners you send to" YOU WILL WRITE ABOUT THOSE SHOPS, when you go to "Rate your partners and coordinator" THOSE PEOPLE WILL WRITE ABOUT YOU.

I hope this makes sense, please PM me with questions. Remeber to post your shop and your blog links in thecomments below as soon as you sign up. I am leaving a long time to sign up because I anticipate getting some questions on this one.

The main point here is to promote your fellow swappers and artisans on your blog. I have done 3 blog follower swaps now and I have noticed that each time I came accross a different type of blog, which means a different set of followers and readers than I attract at my blog.

I look at this as a way for all of us to get our shops seen by each other and our readers. It opens the door for people who may never see your shop to get a look! (and maybe buy something :)

what a great idea!!! maybe in addition we could also, to increase promotional purposes, add an etsy coupon code in the blogpost which we all use for let's say a month (or two) to help get sales? like use coupon code 'KIWIETSYLOVE1' for a 10% discount on the order?
