Inspired by a foodie swap from one of the Swap-Bot groups of which I am member (the wonderful, 'Edibles Swappers International'! :-P), I thought it would be interesting to take part in a public swap in which we exchange (healthy!) foods..and what better time to do so than in the New Year, a time when many of us resolve to make more healthy choices around food! Thus, I present to you - "Happy (Healthy!) New Year" - a foodie scavenger hunt (plus one recipe!) :-D This swap is senders choice, but please feel free to note in the comments section should you have any allergies or any food/flavours which you absolutely detest! Of course, it is always kind to take a peek at your partner's profile to get an idea of their likes/dislikes; for this swap, it may also be a lovely idea to try to send foods which your partner may not know of/may not be able to get hold of where they live.. after all, it's fun to have new food to try & always good to have a variety of choice when you want something to nibble on!! ;-) For this swap, you shall send to your partner (at least) 3 items from the following list:
(Please note: you are most welcome to send more than three items from the list to your partner if you wish to be more generous; however, three is the minimum required, thus please do not expect this in return from your partner, if you choose to kindly send more!) In addition to the three food 'goodies' from the above list, you shall also send to your partner a (personally!) tried-and-tested 'yummy but healthy!' recipe from your collection. This may be a photocopy from a recipe book, a recipe handwritten on a pretty recipe card, a typed-up recipe (homemade or from a recipe book) printed from your computer, or even a recipe you've found on the internet... the only requirement is that you have tried (and enjoyed! :-D) the recipe yourself; if possible, it would also be nice to include a note of the recipe's source :-) Other rules & requirements:
