Description:

. . . . .

For this swap, you will send your partners 2 items from the list below.

  • 1 letterset (two letter sheets, 1 envelope)
  • 2 notecards w/envelopes
  • 2 new postcards
  • 3 mini notecards w/envelopes
  • 3 fold-and-mail letter sheets.

-

(example: you could send 1 letterset and 2 postcards =OR= 2 large notecards and 3 fold/mail letter sheets.)

You are more than welcome to send more than 2 items off the above list, but please note that you are not required to, and it should not be expected.

. . . . .

The stationery/cards must be new & store-bought. Handmade stationery is not acceptable for this swap. Also, if your partner indicates on their profile that they do not collect postcards (or that they don't even like them,) then you cannot send them postcards.

(postcard rule: no touristy postcards, map cards, or anything of that sort. keep the group theme in mind.)

It's not required that the stationery you send be considered "kawaii", it just has to be unique/cute/fun/interesting-looking. Nothing plain, or bare. It must have some kind of awesome design on it

What you choose must be mailed unwritten-on in a sturdy envelope. For extra sturdiness, please consider including thin cardboard inside the envelope to prevent folding. Writing "do not bend" on the outside is another suggestion.

And once again, pleaseee keep the group theme in mind. :)

. . . . .

If this swap goes well, I will definitely host more rounds of it!! :D

I was just thinking today that a stationary swap would be fun! So happy you hosted this!

Yeah! I just bought some new stationery today, and I thought to myself that it would be fun to do a swap for sharing our stationery collections. :)

Also, I just realized that I forgot to change the swap type. Didn't even realize until now that it was set at 1/electronic. haha..

..can 'notecards' be greetings/holiday cards, please? (I just bought the cutest sets of Christmas cards, which I couldn't resist buying in the sales, just for one design from each pack! ^_^ hehe! :-P)

I've already responded to id0believe via a reply to her message, but I'll go ahead and answer here as well, for anyone else wondering the same thing:

This swap is for stationery that can be used any time of the year. So please do not send anything overly holiday specific. Especially anything for Christmas because your partner would have to wait until the end of next year for a reason to use them.
