100 day of Journaling Ok so I got this idea from a swap that Secretterrabite had created for a group and I have her permission to mimic this fun swap. This is a very time intensive and quite possibly expensive swap so please do not sign up if you don’t have time to dedicate to this swap. This swap is international so postage may be pricey as the finished product may be bulky. Due to high “flakage†on journal swaps as of late, there will be strict requirements to participate in this swap. Your overall rating must be 4.95 or higher and you must have at least 20 Type 3: Package or craft swaps under your belt. No recent 1’s or 3’s. No newbies, sorry, must be an active swapper, on Swap Bot for at least 6 months. I will be checking profiles and banning any questionable swappers. Ok, so on to the fun part! We will each purchase or make a journal with 100 pages (50 leaves)- Moleskine Large Sketch Notebook is perfect for this project. If you are making your journal, please use thick art paper that will withstand any type of medium and reinforce where necessary. Starting on January 1st, you will journal a page a day until April 10th. You can doodle, paint, draw, write, collage, paste photographs, etc…express how you are feeling that day with words or art. Please DATE EACH PAGE as follows: Day, date. For example: Day 1, January 1, 2011 (or Day 1, 1 January 2011). Please put effort into this swap and fill each page; this will be our creative outlet to document the beginning of 2011. Please don't stick one receipt, piece of paper, candy wrapper, etc. on the page and call it done. Try to fill the entire page. Once you are finished, you should end up with a fat journal with 100 pages filled with art and journaling. Most of all, have FUN with this project and create some thing that your partner will love and that you yourself would love to receive. Any questions, please PM me. |
