Number of swap partners:5
Description:

This swap is aimed at those like me(when I 1st started this swap) who are sick of nothing but junk mail and bills.

You will have 5 partners. You will take a long envelope and put things in there for your partners and mail them off. You must include at least 3 things...Easy peasy...

THE TWIST... to make it more "happy" you must decorate the envelope... you can doodle.. add stickers...paint... whatever floats your boat...

THIS IS A SENDERS CHOICE SWAP~You can send anything you like but NO JUNK!!!!! This swap is not one where you can pawn off complete garbage...make your partner happy and be sure it is something you would like to receive...

You can pre-make your envies so they are ready to go when partners are assigned or you can wait and tailor it to your partners profile... again... this is senders choice so there is a chance you may get something you don't like...

If you send sheets of notepad/memo paper 5 sheets count as 1 item. (No plain white papers or torn notebook papers...they must be list, notepad or memo papers...with some kind of color/picture)

No ribbon less than 12 inches long

2 stickers count as 1 item unless they are bigger than a quarter.

No stickers smaller than a dime. No teacher/reward stickers No bent, torn or unsticky stickers

You can mail a larger envie if you like but the minimum is the long business size envie.

I am putting this as a type 2 flat mail swap but you can turn it into a type 3 on your own if you like... lol

When you receive your envies you MUST rate a 5 as long as you get 3 items in your envie and the envie is decorated in some way. Do not rate down if you receive something you don't like or can't use

No recent 1s or excessive 3s. Newbies welcome with well filled out profile. (more than a paragraph)

I reserve the right to ban anyone from this swap if I feel it is in the best interest of the participants...however I am willing to do private swaps with those I ban.. please don't take it personal but so many of us here have been burned so I take my hosting responsibilities seriously...

I DO CHECK PROFILES...

I would LOVE to join this swap, but I don't think I could make 5 "decorated" envelopes in time. Maybe I'm thinking the envelopes have to be really super "embellished"? What have players done in the past? (I spend about 2 - 3 hours making ONE ATC. LOL!)

I am new, but Love mail, hope I get to stay in this swap as I already started decorating my envelopes, and I love this whole idea!!!

I don't think you have to get THAT decorative. Sounds like your work is amazing though. In the past I have stamped and embossed my envelopes, like for this season I will probably do autumn themed envies. It's also fun to make your own with cool paper and then stamp on top of that, draw, use stickers etc on top. Hope that helps! Seriously though, I wouldn't be intimidated by the 5 envelopes. Just something not plain white I think is all we are really looking for, but I may be speaking out of turn and the coordinator is free to correct me!

@katyushka .. you are correct...I dont expect anyone to spend hours on their envelopes... just as long as they are decorated in some way... a cute stamped image next to the address... stickers...just decorated...

I got one in the last swap that was glittery and then she put tape over it to keep the glitter from coming off...

Has Partners Been Assigned Yet? Cause I haven't received my partners yet.

Hi, just to let you know if I am sending to you I've had to post them economy, my post office was just awful to me, trying to tell me flat mail doesn't count as flat mail if it's not just paper documents (I have NEVER had this problem with any other post office) so I had to pretend I was sending other stuff economy to get it at flat mail rate. They tried to tell me rules have changed (according to everywhere else it's less than 1cm thickness is flat rate charges) :( You should still get it by christmas though! :/
