You know the ones I'm talking about! Where you insert a penny along with an X amount of quarters, & out comes a transformed penny! Usually with a souvenir-ish logo. So in this swap, we will send 1 penny to each of our 2 partners :) As far as I know, they are in most places in the USA. Mostly found in a tourist places, sometimes just by a liquor store, or any random place. International, since this will be very light to mail. But then again I don't think other countries have these... Well just in case, this is international. For swappers with a rating of 4.5 or above. Newbies welcome with fully filled out profiles. Thanks TeraBAcat! I wonder if they use US pennies for the international ones, or do they use their own coins?

OOoo..I just had to sign up! My brother loves these, he has a collection going. I always make one for him every time I see a machine (because honestly, what else am I going to do with all my change?).

I found a penny squishing machine in China!!!!! No kidding. Except, it squished their money (yuan) instead. I want to join but I don't know where in the world I would find a machine here in Little Rock! If I find one, I'll join. I have two little books of them but no extras! It's kinda like a "penny" journal of where I've been.

Wow, I've never heard of these before, and I've never seen one of those machines in Canada so I won't be able to join the swap unfortunately:( But Wwen I first saw the swap titled I was reminded of how me and my cousins used to press pennies and other coins, we'd go to the train tracks and wait for a train to come along and as it was coming we'd lay our coins on the train track and leave a marker to remember where they were and when the train drove over the coins they'd be pressed flat, the only problem is finding them once the train has passed. Still a very interesting pass time, maybe I should start a swap for those type of pressed coins, I'm sure I'm not the only kid who did this.

pinkflamingo - Wow, do the coins come out with train tracks on them? That's a neat idea! but i suspect that the penny might not be in the place where you had put it, though :P
