Description:
I want to start off by saying newbies are accepted in this swap, but please don't join if you don't inted to participate. Altered composition notebook with Altered Cover (You can alter the cover using anything you want, you can find samples of altered journals all over the internet) Display the letters from A-Z one letter on each page please leave the back of that page blank and start on the next page with your next letter. You can use magazine clippings, newspapper clippings, draw the letters yourself, paint, cut out of felt or material or any other way you want. You will write a sentence under each letter using that letter ex. Alice's apron is apple red. Each word in the sentence does not have to start with that letter, but try to use it as much as possible. If you have kids this will probably be alot of fun for them to help you with. Let them help you come up with the sentences or let them find the letters for you to use in your Journal, but please write or type the sentences yourself that way we can make sure that our partner can read them. The Journal needs to be sturdy like the composition notebooks you find in the store so if you make it at home that is fine just nothing like the spiral notebooks that you can rip the pages out of easily. I hope this is a fun swap I know I'm very excited. You have a month from sign up date to complete date so please put the effort into this swap to make it nice and neat. this is an ace swap and if it was international with a decent date on i would sign up i have just started a 30 day journal swap so need a long date on :) cause im also doing the lyrics journal

How so does the cover of the notebook need to be altered? I'm familiar with the work Altered but not sure exactly what you may mean. Is there a specific type of paper that can be used in the notebook? Notebook filler paper? Or does Notebook need to be spiral bound? Please explain.

@SunshineHoneyBee Buy a notebook and cover the front and back with pretty paper, brads, glitter and other things that will make it look pretty...

@Gofeen Feel free to host an international version. I'm sorry that this one isn't I just cant do international right now, I really wish I could though. I'm glad you sound excited. Please let me know how the international version goes when it's all done.

@SunshineHoneyBee I will edit the description above so it more specific. You can make the journal but it needs to be sturdy like the composition notebooks you buy in the store no spirals please the papers fall out of those way to easy. And to alter the cover you can cover it with almost anything from newspaper to scrapbook paper, even material. It's completly up to you just please make sure you don't send a plain journal.

I was just wondering... I picked up a composition notebook today and it has 100 pages. Should we be decorating every other page with letters of the alphabet, or should we be skipping a few in there so that it's evenly throughout the book?

You can do it however you want it is completly up to you. I use only the 100 page composition books but I only skip one page. You can do it however you want.

Is each sentence supposed to be a prompt? Is the rest of the page left for the receiver to journal in?

Each page will have one Letter and one sentence, you can add more sentences if you'd like.

Can we decopauge or scrapbook the rest of the page with things that start with that letter? Basically, as long as it has the letter and a sentence, we are free to decorate the rest of the page as we'd like?
