Description:

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is sending and receiving Christmas cards. A Christmas Card Swap that I was signed up for was cancelled so I decided to make a new swap for Christmas cards.

  • This swap is International
  • Send one Christmas card to 5 partners. It can be store bought or handmade, but must have a seasonal greeting (ie. Happy Holidays, Season's Greetings, Merry Christmas, etc.)
    Edit 9/15/07: Some have asked for clarification on this - The seasonal greeting does not have to be on the front of the card - it can be on the inside.

  • Write a note to your partner in the card telling them something that you like about the holiday season, a family holiday tradition, or what you (or your children) hope Santa will bring.

  • 4.8 or higher rating with no no sends in the last 3 months. If you feel you have an unfair rating please message me.

  • Newbies must meet the rating requirement prior to the last day for sign-ups. There is plenty of time to get rated before this swap so feel free to join. Anyone with no ratings for snail mail swaps will be dropped after the signup deadline before partners are assigned.
  • If you see that there are questionable swappers signed up for this swap, please message me and I'll do my best to take care of it.

Does anyone know why the other swap was cancelled? It had a ton of people in it.
Is that why it was cancelled? Is there a maximum of people that can join a swap-bot swap? Maybe too many people joined, and, the swap was automatically cancelled? .... just wondering ..... At any rate, sure glad this one is started.

Ya.. i also signed up for the previous swap and was rather disappointed it was cancelled.. Same here, was also wondering why it was cancelled..Anyway, thanks for organising this swap..I'm definitely in..

The person who was hosting their profile was deleted. They are in the questionable swapper forum thread and their rating was a 3point something. When the profile was deleted any and all swaps they were hosting were deleted. Be thankful that it didn't happen after sign ups ended and you were stuck with her as a partner to receive from. You probably would have been disappointed.

And here is a tip for all new swappers. ALWAYS check out the host before signing up. If they have a low score or alot of 1's (no-sends) it is best not to sign up. I didn't sign up for the other card swap because of that reason. I did however sign up for this one because it is being hosted by a good swapper. Also check out the forum page - it can give you alot of information about everything going on here at SB.

This is so great! I have signed up for a few card swaps! For any of you that has a Walgreens Drug store by them (US only) they have a sale on box cards! Buy 1 get 2 FREE! They have like 20+ cards in there set! I hope that helps!!!

I hope my partners get this message. I am so sorry I have not gotten out my cards yet. they are going out today or tomorrow. I have been in the hospital with a heart attack this past week (actually Nov 28) and just arrived home. Please except my appologizes and I promise (to the best of my ability lol) it will never happen again

Sorry to all my partners, I thought the send date for this swap was 10th December but I was getting it confused with another swap I am in, the cards will all be sent tomorrow morning and hopefully they won't take too long to get to their destinations (I am in the UK). Sorry again!

I received a Christmas card and a Christmas Bag. I am just trying to find out who they are from. I think they are from sweetjewels1985, since she is the only one left to receive from. The package was from Austraila, but nothing identifying her. I don't want anyone to go unrated. Thanks
