Send one partner a journal of your choosing (3x5 by 5x5 at least, this is the size of a pocket moleskine) and write a journal prompt on each page that your partner can use on that page, at least 50 pages with prompts must be sent to your partner. try to not take up anymore than 1/4 to a half of each page to write the prompts because if our partner wants to do the prompt below where you wrote it they will need room. Try to make it look nice. maybe paint two ot three pages or use different fonts or stencils for a few of the prompts. The point of this is to get some artistic inspiration. Because this is an art journalling group, try to make them as artsy as possible. One idea I have would be to glue in a picture of a person and make the prompt say "draw wings on him" , so these prompts can be interactive if you want them to be. For examples of neat formats for the prompts, look online for a book called "wreck this journal". We are artists here so we wont be doing wrecking! :) I just think the way the prompts are are good examples. Its so easy to think of prompts sometimes so im going to make some examples of what you could write: 1.) decorate the cover of this journal 2.) glue and paint this page with anything green you want. 3.)alter this photo 4.)fill this with stickers 5.) cake on layers of paint and glaze here. make it thick! So when you recieve your journal, you can choose either to do these things over what your partner has written, do them under what theyve written, or just save the journal for when you need an idea. :) Anyone from our group is welcome with good ratings. This will be a short swap relatively speaking, but it is pretty simple. have fun with this :] |
