Not A Mixed Music CD, Mixed Music Swap - EDITED

We all know the rules about mixed music CD’s, so I wanted to do a swap that is still in the spirit of music sharing but without breaking the rules.

For this swap you will:

1) Write to your partner a playlist with at least 10 songs on it with the name of the band/singer and song.

2) Tell them a little bit about the playlist and why you picked those songs.

3) You will take a blank recordable CD and decorate it. DO NOT record the music on it. It is up to your partner to look up the songs you send them, purchase them and record it on the CD. If they do not like the playlist or have the music already, they will have a pretty CD to record whatever they want on it.

4) You will either make a CD sleeve or decorate a CD Jewel case to house the CD you decorated for your partner. You must leave room on the inside or back cover of the case for your partner to write in their playlist.

5) You will have just one partner for this swap. Be creative and have fun.

I wanted to make this a public swap, but was too scared to get a “Justin Bieber” inspired playlist. Since we are all pretty much like-minded folks and have pretty similar taste in music as shown here, this is the perfect place for this swap.

If this goes well and everyone enjoys it, I will make it a monthly thing.
