Monthly Birthstone Color and Flower Swap - AUGUST

Let's start a monthly swap for each month's birthcolor/flower!

Here is a list to help us out:

MONTH - BIRTHSTONE - FLOWER

January, Garnet, carnation or snowdrop

February, Amethyst, violet or primrose

March, Aquamarine, Jonquil (daffodil)

April, Diamond, sweet pea or daisy

May, Emerald, lily of the valley

June, Pearl, rose

July, Ruby, Larkspur or water lily

August, Peridot, gladiolus or poppy

September, Sapphire, aster or morning glory

October, Opal, marigold

November, Yellow Topaz, chrysanthemum

December, Zircon or Turquoise, narcissus

Now, since this is August we will start with Peridot and Gladiolus or Poppy. NOTE: each swap will most likely be a bit different.

For this swap you will send your partner 1 ATC with the month's flower (your pick of gladiolus or poppy). Make a lovely ATC incorporating the flower - you may even hand draw or paint it, if you prefer. Just make it something you'd love to receive!

As for the peridot part of the swap you will make or buy something with the peridot stone (yes it can be artificial peridot). If you do not know - peridot is a beautiful, light green color. You can make or buy simple jewelry (necklace, earrings, bracelet), key ring, bookmark with a peridot bead attached, purse charm (aka zipper pull), magnet, or anything else your heart desires. This month it's your choice on how you want to incorporate the birthstone.
