For this swap, you will send your 1 partner 1 handmade postcard. The theme for these postcards is to "Impersonate" someone famous....creatively portray that person on one side of the postcard (collage, paint, digital, drawn, etc.), and on the note side, write a short note to your swap partner 'impersonating' that famous person; write something that the famous person might say! For example, if you were sending a card impersonating Albert Einstein, you could write a note saying how you had a hard time finding a good barber (he did have some wild hair, didn't he?), or some other whimsical thing that the famous person might write.... The cards will be send without envelope. The cards should be 4x6" or larger, your choice.

Welcome, newbie....we all have to start someplace; I'm glad you chose here! : )

I like the concept a lot, but I have a question: if we're making a collage, are we allowed to use part of a photo of that person--like their face--in the collage? Or does it have to be all "creative"--drawn or painted or whatever?

Oh, definitely, you can use a part of a photo; just so long as we can recognize the famous person, anything goes!
