Waste Not, Want Not-- 7day experience

Inspired by the movie "No Impact Man", I wanted to do a swap that makes the swapper self aware of how much garbage we go through each day.

For this swap, you'll be sending ONE partner a 7-day entry style compilation of what you throw away each day. I mean, EVERYTHING. Packaging for food, toilet paper, food straps, etc.

One of the challenges of this swap is to take a step back and see how disposable products we use. It be a good idea to include some changes you made while participating in this swap.

Example:

"I was going to recycle this glass but I made it into ____ instead"

It would be helpful to talk about the things you recycle, donate, or thrift during this time, too. Maybe this will help you to take a look at your purchasing habits as well. Think about the 3 R's (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) during this swap.

The time frame is three weeks from the sign up deadline. There should be plenty of time to record your entries and compile them in a a respectable manner. Add some decorations. Create something worthwhile. You have complete control over this, so send something you'd like to receive.

Profiles will be check. International because learning about how people in other countries live is really awesome.
