Julys discription, write a story swap

Hi Is near end of June and as I'm going away July I thought I'll put my swap up now for July so don't forget and while is fresh in my head. This is a carry over from last months only is a discription write a story.

I will write discriptions and you choose one and you like best and write your partner a story.

1/ The dew on the new rose bud glistened as the first morning sun light touched its beautiful form.

2/ The lights went out as thunder & lightning ruled the sky, then all of a sudden a clap of thunder, a flash of lightning, in the lamps light she saw the cats hair stand on end and as he hissed a gust of wind blew the door open and there stood a dark figure, was it friend or was it foe?

3/ Dorothy had worked hard all her life fitting a lot into her fifty five years, She had been married and had a family and tragically widowed to continue raising her two children alone. Now they where grown with families of their own and she was now facing early retirament as company she had worked for twenty years was asking her to retire early. The thought scared her as she dreaded being alone and idle.

4/ Joe had known Jenny all his life they had grown up next door to each other.They had gone there seperate ways to see what life offered. But here at Joes uncles funeral their eyes met and fell again but in that brief momant they knew that they would be togeather forever.

5/ The unicorn stood on the cliff below the waterfall and as the sun hit his pure white coat the spray from the waterfall made it glisten in the afternoon sun and you could almost see the end of his horn glow it was a sight to take your breath away.

Story needs to be more then page is only retriction. Enjoy

It was pointed out to me that my discriptions are too long and that may put people off well as i do not know how to make them shorter without losing the discription I wont to put across so please note you don't need to use all of what I have written JUST SAY WHICH ONE gave you inspiration and the number only if you perfer. and go with it and do your own thing.
