Description: | |
Some of you have probably heard of the Flat Stanley project where school children send little paper characters around the world. Recipients take pictures of the characters in various locations and then send the character and picture back to the child. So I thought this might be fun to do with adults. And since I love animals of all kinds I thought it would fun to do your doll as a animal or monster It doesn't matter what kind as long as you will like to see him or her in pictures. All you have to do is make a animal paper doll. Doesn't have to be a work of art. Can be made from a regular sheet of paper, but you can make larger if you so desire. Just make sure that it's not so small that it would be hard to get a good picture of. Then you'll send it to your partner. Partners, you'll take at least 5 pictures of the Flat Stanley somewhere in the area you live. Be creative - go to a zoo, find a statue, take it to a concert, etc. Once you get the picture developed or printed off your computer, send it and the Flat Stanley back to the person who sent it to you along with one souvenir. This will be an international swap so that Stanley can visit exotic locations. Okay, now for the serious stuff. I will remove people who have multiple 1's and or 3's. In order for this swap to work, you need to be responsible since it involves the step of sending Stanley back within a month of receiving him with his new pictures and a souvenir! Package to include flat Stanley, at least 5 pictures) and a souvenir from your travels. |
