Description:

This swap is PART TWO of a two-part swap!

YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP FOR PART ONE BEFORE YOU MAY JOIN PART TWO! I will be checking that you have joined the first swap and have sent your package before I assign partners and will boot anyone who is not in the first part or has not sent their package for the first part.

Also, if you have not received your package from the first swap by the signup date for the second, please message me and we will make arrangements.

The idea for this swap came from seeing several "crafty challenge" type things going on in some of the communities I belong to - basically, everyone gets a set of surprise crafty supplies and has to come up with something using most or all of the items. The most popular of these that I've seen is the Christy Nelson Craft Challenge, where everyone purchases the same package of items that she assembles monthly and then posts pictures of their items to be voted on in a contest.

We'll be doing things a bit differently, however. For the first part of the swap, you have assembled the package of secret goodies. For this, the second part, you will now be making that series of 3 ATC's for a whole new partner. This part is sort of a practice in creating along a theme, as well.

For this swap, you will be creating a series of three (3) ATC's from the ten items you received. Pick a theme to carry through all three cards, whether it be a color, a word, an idea, or a style. You must use some portion of each of the ten items in the series, though not all on the same card (this is why we're doing a series - more space to work with), and you may use any additional supplies you see fit to use. Also, when you send your ATC's, please include the note from your first swap partner about the items included, so your second partner can see what went into the cards. Also, write a little note about the theme you chose.

So, to recap: 1. Make a series of ATC's from the scavenger hunt items you received, carrying a theme through all three cards. 2. Use some portion of all ten items somewhere on the three cards. 3. Include the note from your first partner about the items you received. 4. Write a little note about your theme.

This swap is open to everyone in the group, but please be mindful of your partner and don't flake. If I have problems with you during this swap, I will ban you from my future swaps. Remember, groups thrive on active participation and courtesy. Make something you would be happy to receive, send on time, and if there is a problem, please contact me or your partner to resolve the issue. Be excellent to each other and have fun!

Please message me or leave a comment if you have any questions.

This is awesomer, but would be even more awesome if we were required to email a pic of our ATCs to our first partner too! Then I can see what whoever made with the stuff I sent. I plan on doing this and am going to ask my Part One partner to do the same. :)

This is a great idea! Also, one could post their pictures on the Flickr group to share the love!
