The Regional PIF here on the Swap-bot forums is fun and I thought it might be cool to take the idea one step forward and do another regional goodies swap. Sorry, US and Canada only due to postage. You will be sending about $15 before shipping* worth of things from your region to your partner. Ideas inlcude: food from your region, crafts from your region, historic sov. from your region, etc. Please send only things made in or reflective of the area where you live! For example, I am in the Blue Ridge Mountains and might send a cornshuck doll, quilt square, homemade jam, farmers market treat, mix CD of bluegrass music, book about my area, small item from a local artisan, and a photograph of the mountains. If you do a regional craft or want to try a regional craft, it is fine to make some of your items. Open to established swappers with a 4.8 rating or higher and at least three hearts in non-e mail swaps. Thank you for looking. It seems with all the summer festivals, it is a good chance to collect and share some unique regional finds! *Edit- After shopping for some regional items today, I realized that a $15 package might be a little less exciting that I had expected. So, you can spend around $20 to make a better package, if you wish. $15 is still good, though. |
