Thanks, you should at least recieve it no later than the end of this week, since Monday Oct. 9th was a holiday and no mail was delivered on that day, the mail is a day behind.

Very dissapointed with the whole Swapbot thing. My partner hasn't even sent my swap! No email,forum post from her nothing!Had signed up for 3 swaps more but now have dropped out. People can be very mean. Hope everyone else has a better experience

Always Fabulous, don't be sad. Unfortunatelly there are a lot of takers out there, specially when the number of users is growing, but also sometimes the Not Sents don't mean that your partner won't be sending .... on another swap someone was having money problems and sent me a message saying this and she would be late, other are sick or without computer or whatever...like, thinks unexpected happen .... others are really mean but don't think all users are like that. After signing up I always check who's on for the swap, there are already some names on my black-list and if they participate then I drop as much as I like the theme.

Btw, hey Tammy, you're my partner but you're still with a Not Sent Status, I'm waiting for you to be polite enough to send a message ;)

Thanks Farruska, you cheered me up!, I agree that there can be all sorts of reasons why people might not send their swap, but an email, forum post of even a postcard explaining why would be good manners and as you say polite. Unfortunately my partner has a lot of feedback saying she didn't hold up her end of the bargain and that swaps were never received, maybe she is a taker :(

Everybody, don't give yup yet .... haven't received anything on this one yet but it's on it's way, delayed due to a very sad situation, and who knows how long will the post take this time. I have also 2 packages sent on other swaps that haven't arrived yet to the destiny, have also about 4 swaps to receive who haven't arrived yet. Now that you know who your partner is , try contact them before judging because things happen and sometimes people's emotional status is one that overwealms anything else ;) or sometimes (too many times) packages get lost at the post offices.

Tanya, your frustration is understandable, a lot of us are also waiting, some have managed to contact their partner, others haven't, but please, this is a public message board, let's not forget one simple rule of the Netiquette (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netiquette) that seems to be lost back on my times of college in 92: usage of caps lock = shouting . It does not solve anything (like in IRL), it's unpleasant to others to read and to me quite frankly is really annoying and hurts my eyes. Not to say that you can express your disappointment in anyway you wish, shouting or whatever, on your ratings as you already did, but even for expressing on how fustrated, disapointed, angry one is, is not by shouting that will solve anything. Do your part as member of this community that is the swap-bot and alert the swap organizer and other swapers through your rating. But I'm just a swap partner on this one, the organizer should be giving the speech and controling things...

I actually sent you 2 msgs through the swap-bot contact form, the first (on 6/10) to apologise for being late, and the 2nd (one wk later) to tell you that the package has been sent! Maybe it went straight to the junk mail folder? I was wondering why you never replied. :P Guess now I know why! Anyway so sorry for the delay, and sorry you didn't get the msgs. I've tried to explain you what writting in capitals means (=shouting, not very polite but it's up to you of course) , not to correct you in any means. Don't believe I was incorrect with you in advising you on talking with the organizer, expressing your disappointment by rating, your atempt of ofending was totally unecessary, I do sit on a pc almost half of my day as it is an instrument of my work. I believe that being an honest swapper is not just a matter of sending your stuff but being able (no rudeness) to participate on the community. But perhaps I will consider that it's a thing of youth and nothing else. I hope you get your swap package or at least some explanation from your partner and in worst case scenario someone offers to be your swap fairy. I usually do and have done in various swaps, but taking your unnability to cope with some advise of someone who's been around on online communities for 12 years, I wish you good luck....

Tempted taboo: I know how you must feel, not receiving your gift would make anyone here feel sad. You can express yourself about it, but there's no need to be rude with Farruska. She wasn't trying to offend you or stoping you from telling what you feel, she just gave you a kindly advice that might be useful not only in this website, but in many other you'll visit soon. If you think you'll get people's atention by writing in caps, you may want to think it twice next time, since a lot of people simply skip to the next comment when they see the last one is written in caps. Not because they don't want to read what you have to say, simply because it's unpleasant and hard to read.

My english isn't good enough, but I'll try to make my point. It's really unfair when we don't receive our gifts. Sometimes is because our partner simply didn't mind sending something or maybe is because she had a problem and couldn't afford it anymore. Sadly, that can be very common in this website and all of us will have at least one bad experience one way or another. There's not much we could do about it but communicating it to other members of this site by rating the partner or commenting it.

This is a community, and we should respect each other, taking their advices and also taking the time to read what they have to say. That way we get to know which members are bad swappers and which ones are good, so next time we want to participate in any swap, we'll know the people we're relating to. And e have to know that if we don't receive anything, that doesn't make our partner a bad person.

Now I will email all the people who didn't send their stuff and post here their response. If you want I can make a list of the people who didn't receive their stuff.

Hello! Today I recieved my partner rate 1. But I dont understand. I sended it for You. I live in Europe, and she in the USA. The posttime is long, but she is no tolerant. I dont understand :( I am member of 10 yahoo groups, and they recieved my all packets. And if not received anybody, I can resend. Only send an email, and we can speak it. I dont like this attitude.

I stiil have not received anything, i never heard from my partner. Until I left her feedback, [I had posted two messages]then all I got was a rather rude email. My partner has 5 "no sends" including mine. I am very dissapointed with the whole Swapbot thing. Ive found another online commuinity, the people are great, I have received three gifts though "chatting" on the forum. The swaps I have joined there have been much better than I expected. I wish you all good luck with your swaps ladies be I won't be joining you x x x

I also have not recieved this swap.... Have not rated her yet hoping it will still get here. I really enjoyed this swap the putting it all together and the time frame we had to work with. And the person I swaped with sent me a snail mail postcard! That was really special!

yey! after some waiting, it has arrived :) Tammy sent me the cutest wrapped surprises, including among a great assortiment, a real wallet (i can never get enough of them :) ), a halloween sweet and chocolate package (yey!), a GORGEOUS knotted bead piggy, new mints for me to try, S. Diego souvenirs (postcard, deck of cards and fridge magnet!), and I loooooove the personal note giant gift tag :)
