DECORATED CHRISTIAN BIBLE SCRIPTURE #5

Hi Everybody! This time around I would like us to get a little more in-depth and personal. This time we will share of ourselves with our partner. Last time we asked our partners about themselves. This time we share who we are. Nothing like having a captive audience. LOL

This time we'll have one partner and we'll be making two mini books. One for ourselves and one for our partners. Let me explain.

I once read an article about someone making a sort of book that contained Scriptures, words to their favorite Christian songs, prayers, Christian poems etc. and when they couldn’t sleep at night or were so stressed out, worried, grieved, etc., that they couldn’t even think straight then this booklet became their prayer to fill the darkness and black holes in their prayer life and world. They would just open up the book and start reading, praying or singing each page over and over again and just let the spirit of God wash over them so they could sleep, rest their minds, etc.

I want you to make two of these booklets exactly alike, using the 3 X 5 cards we’ve been using. One book is for you and one is for your partner. You can bind the cards any way you like as long as it is in a booklet type form (all the pages need to be attached). Decorate the cover. Decorate the pages. The finished product still needs to fit in our 3 X 5 index card boxes. You may have to type out some of the longer things and put them in a smaller font (not too small though some of us have eye problems) so it can fit on the index cards.

Leave a few card pages BLANK so your partner can personalize their book by adding in a few of their own song verses/scriptures/ poems/prayers. I’d say about 12 pages minimum. You will complete 8 of the pages yourself and let your partner do 4 of them on their own. OK. You don’t have to leave the last 4 blank, you could leave 4 in the middle blank or scatter the 4 blank pages throughout the book. Your decision.

WHO CAN SIGN UP? Newbies welcome, as we all have to start somewhere. Everyone else must have high numbers to join. If you seem fishy then I reserve the right to ban you, as I want everyone in the swap to be committed to getting the scripture card books done and mailed out. Enjoy!
