Description:

Earth Day is this month as well as April Stash Bust, so in the spirit of the season I am hosting another one of my ATC Recycle Scraps swap!

This is a great way to RECYCLE unneeded materials! Some of you might be new and some might have been doing this for a while and have a lot of scrap things you might not need! This swap will give us all some items for making our ATC’s and give you an opportunity to pass on items you don’t need anymore. Please pick at least five (5) things from the list below and send them to your partner! Mixing and matching is allowed, sending more is also allowed!

The List – Some ideas of things to send…

  • 1 or 2 blank notecards and envelopes
  • 1 skinny blank
  • 2 ATC blanks
  • 6 inchie blanks
  • 1 page of stickers (NOT kiddy or reward unless indicated by partner)
  • 10 used postage stamps (please don’t send more than 2 of the same stamp)
  • 1 sheet of nice scrapbook paper
  • 1 photograph you’ve taken
  • Interesting magazine clippings or newspaper clippings
  • Collage pieces.
  • A bit of Ribbon or lace
  • Seed beads or stone chips
  • Ticket stubs
  • Fabric
  • 5-10 tamped images
  • Several scrap bits of paper
  • Embellishments of any sort (coins, feathers, keys, gems, old jewelry, steampunk items, etc)
  • A few plastic card sleeves
  • Postcard, used or new
  • 5 buttons
  • Few pieces of ephemera, old or new
  • 1 or 2 ATC's you've been traded and no longer desire in your collection. (Touchy subject, proceed with caution)
  • 1 ATC that you've made and want to share.

Feel free to think outside the box - what are things YOU would use for an ATC?

Newbies welcome with a filled out profile, if you have any recent 1’s or 3’s please contact me. If you don’t contact me and I check your profile and see them I will ban you from the swap, I’m sorry but I try very hard to keep flakers away. I will angel if necessary, but please if you aren’t planning on sending DON'T JOIN, right? PM me with any questions.

Feel free to post here some suggestions for things you could use, for your partner to check out, especially if there are some things you don’t need any more of, or some things you really would like (such as wanting more buttons, or wanting a certain color of fabric, etc). - but remember this is sender's choice so you might not get what you suggest.

USA only swap, there are a bunch of this type of swaps right now that are international and I want to keep postage cost down. If someone wants to host an int'l version of this particular swap, you are welcome to do so, just please link back to this one in your description!

Hi there! Just to let my partner know... I really don't need used stamps unless you think it something super-cool. :) I collected hundreds as a kid and I'm STILL using them. :) I do love neat embellishments and I make alot of ATCs, so anything like that would be awesome! (If I'm sent something I can't use, believe me, I'll find someone who can!)

Thanks! stonefemmeblues

Oooh! This looks perfect for me.

I hope it's okay that I don't want paper... anything else I will be more than happy with, but I have way, way too much paper; a couple POUNDS of extra paper, actually LOL

I understand this is sender's choice, but just to let my partner know- I'm really not hard to please but I do have ribbon, stickers and beads out the wazoo. :)

I would especially love any clock parts/steampunk items - magazine collage pieces (good for zetti would rock!) - always love ephemera - old keys - postcards - cool papers even little bits - stamped images.

I really don't need buttons or stamps, fabric or cutesy stickers - but if that's what you have to send, I will find a good home for it!

I am okay with pretty much anything except ribbon and eyelets...tons of it as well as atc backs..... I have shyed away from steam punk and zetti stuff since Im not sure I "get it" but maybe I will try it one of these days. anything is okay actually, it can all be put to good use.

I have lots of buttons, lace, fabric and ribbons. I would love any paper bits, stamped images and small mag. pixs for ATC's and inchies.

This does sound like a great swap! I'm ok with just about anything unless it has a fragrance - my poor nose will not tolerate perfumey stuff anymore! I do like the steampunk, clock parts, old keys, skulls (not real ones)! But I too, will find a use for anything you send or find it a good home!

What a GREAT idea for a swap!!

I'd love mostly anything above, except I don't really need seed beads, plastic sleeves, stickers or scrapbook paper. Thanks!
