Journal to Success - Reaching our Weight loss Goals

I have always wanted to do a journal that focuses on weight loss and reaching my goals. I think it would be an awesome way to inspire and help each other reach those goals, if we could share with each other.

You can use a pre-made journal for this swap, or put one together yourself. The size is up to you, this swap is international.

There will be one theme a day you can do it in any order, but the first page must be YOUR INTRODUCTION of yourself, after that you go whatever order you would like in putting it together.

You are free to add pictures of yourself, or whatever you would like. You can be as creative as you wish.

The topics are below:

  1. INTRODUCTION OF SELF - first page(s) - include your name, your swap-bot user name, starting weight, goal weight, etc. whatever you wish about yourself for your partner to get to know you.

  2. TYPICAL DAY FOR YOU - timeline

3 - 9. FOOD DIARY - what you eat, when you eat it, calories if you count them, points if you count them - you will do this for 7 days - it does not have to be 7 in a row, your choice of when.

10 - 14 FITNESS DIARY - what exercises you do, reps, minutes you do for 5 days, again not necessarily in a row.

  1. HARDEST THING(S) YOU GO THROUGH WHEN TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT....and WHY.

  2. WHAT HAVE YOU CHANGED IN YOUR LIFE STYLE TO HELP YOU REACH YOUR WEIGHT LOSS GOALS and WHY.

  3. IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS TO SHARE WITH YOUR PARTNER THAT WORK FOR YOU OR YOU MAY TRY.

  4. DO YOU REWARD YOURSELF FOR A LOSS AND IF SO IN WHAT WAYS? HOW AND WHEN?

  5. SUGGESTIONS OF IDEAS TO REWARD YOURSELF TO SHARE WITH YOUR PARTNER.

  6. ULTIMATE REWARD YOU WILL GIVE YOURSELF WHEN YOU REACH YOUR GOAL?

  7. WHY DO YOU WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT?

  8. DO YOU USE A CERTAIN WEIGHT LOSS PLAN, YOUR OWN PLAN, ONLINE SUPPORT, ETC? TELL US ABOUT IT.

  9. WHO DO YOU FIND IS YOUR BIGGEST CHEERLEADER WHEN IT COMES TO ROOTING YOU ON IN YOUR GOAL TO LOSE WEIGHT?

  10. WHO DO YOU FIND IS YOUR WORST CHEERLEADER WHEN IT COMES TO ROOTING YOU ON IN YOUR GOAL TO LOSE WEIGHT?

  11. HAVE YOU GIVEN UP ANYTHING IN THE PROCESS THAT YOU PLAN ON HAVING WHEN YOU REACH GOAL, IF SO WHAT AND WHY.

  12. SINCE STARTING YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY WHAT ENCOURAGING WORDS CAN YOU GIVE THE READER OF YOUR JOURNAL?

27 - 28. INCLUDE ATLEAST TWO (2) RECIPES WITH YOUR PARTNER THAT ARE HEALTHY AND THAT YOU LOVE TO EAT.

  1. INCLUDE A PICTURE OF YOURSELF

  2. INCLUDE AN ARTICLE ON GETTING HEALTHY

i really like this idea, it seems like it was really meant to be after indulging on such wonderful food and drink with my family yesterday,easter sunday.so i'm in.

To Those Joining and/or To those who have joined - I've participated in several journal swaps and have always received a wonderful journal back...I hope many people will take part, of course like any swap I do check profiles and if someone participating is questionable I will inquire, if I have doubts I will boot people. Its only fair to the others who take part.

One question, other than the fitness and food diaries, which I write each on seven different days, aka one week, otherwise there is no time limit? Like when I feel like writing about three topics a day, I guess that is ok? :)

Anyone started on the journal yet??? Today is my official weigh in day and I have my journal planned --just need my partner.

Do we fill it in completely before sending it to our partner? Or do they send it back and then we fill in some more? Sorry I'm new here and don't fully understand how everything works just yet! ^_^ x

You respond to the topics and send the completed journal to your partner. Someone else will be sending you their completed journal. Once you get a journal its yours to keep, no sending it back to the sender.

So don't forget the journal you are doing is the one that you are completing the topics in and sending to your partner for them to read and get inspiration from.
