Everyone has read a book that has changed their lives. Maybe you have had many books that have changed your perspective or give you new insight or just was a good read that you read that changes your attitude just by reading it. Time to share a book! In this swap you will send your partner one of these books that has changed your life (new or used but please not so used that it's falling apart or stains all over). You will also include a note that explains what this book means to you and why it changed your life. This is SENDER'S choice. Newbies are welcome. Anyone with 4.8 and higher are allowed and no 1s in the past 3 months.

What are the standards as far as the book is concerned- is used okay or does it have to be new?

Good question! I made the edit so it reads used or new but has to not be crappy looking :) It is supposed to be your awesome book choice after all!

Love this idea, but because it's international I am afraid my book might be too costly to ship (it's a biggie). Will watch one more day until I can decide.

Would it be possible to send the book as a gift if your partner has an Amazon account? Does Amazon let you write a message if you send a gift, 'cause that would work great for this swap ... or would it?

I think @wunderland that you can totally ship it from amazon and then send a letter separately or email that has the message part of this swap. I will allow email because amazon is amazing to ship from :)
