Food Box ATCs

I did a postcard swap like this, where we just left the box in it's normal state, but postcard size. Should I assume here that the ATCs should be decorated? Or just the box plain? Does any of the box need to show? clearly confused Help an ATC-newbie out, yo.

This sounds intriguing, but I have to say I am a bit confused too.. is the ATC going to be decorated or are we just going to cut out a little rectangle from the box? Not a total newbie, but still clueless... sorry :)

I have been hosting a bunch of swaps for these postcard size. I have gotten both... just a box cut and one decorated. Then again I made one that was a heart out of M&M wrappers for someone I loved it. But, I never got a rating. Hmmm....... I think IMHO that it depends on what you see. If it is a sponge bob cereal box and the ATC just needs nothing then... Isn't the artwork figuring out what to cut?

It is up to the sender. You would have to go with what you feel is more "artsy" like @Mom2Alex2008 said "The artwork is figuring out what to cut" and what your partner would like. No stress... just have fun with it.

I know it's "what sender thinks it's artsy" but what if it becomes a subjective view? is the rating affected? just curious because I'm still rather clueless. sorry!

IMHO everyone who sends on time, cards the right size and made of food box(es) should get a 5.

another person just making sure, lol....i was wondering if the atc can have a collage type of picture made with food boxes, as long as the whole atc is of food boxes? I was just looking at flickr for some ideas. Would this be ok? On my watch list♥
