Harry Potter Geeks Unite! Letter Swap

With the new movie just out, and the last book coming up, I know I can't go anywhere with one or more friends without the topic of Harry Potter coming up. It seems to be something I can't get enough of talking about! And sometimes when I mention it, I get chuckled at because I'm so enthusiastic. Yes, that's right- I'm a very proud Harry Potter Geek!

While there are some really cool Harry Potter swaps out there, I'm not all that rich myself. So I figured a simple letter swap would be ideal for me, and for other who are just as poor as I am, or simply don't have time to make/shop for cool items.

This is an easy swap. Just write 1-2 pages, either handwritten or typed, and mail it to your partner. Easy, yes? Especially when there are so many things you can write about!

A few suggestions I came up with are (and you can use one, or all, or none of these):

1. Favorite character and why?
2. Own any fun Harry Potter merchandise?
3. What House would you be in? Why?
4. Favorite or least favorite pairings, either in the book or fandom- why?
5. Ever had a long HP debate?
6. Favorite book? Why? (And this won't have a send date until some time after the last book, so you'll have time to include that in your thoughts!)
7. Do you find yourself falling into HP roles in real life?
8. Any HP related pets or objects? (brooms, wands)
9. Why do you love HP so much?
10. How long have you been a fan?
11. How did you get into the fandom?
12. Favorite scene in a book or movie?
13. Favorite/least favorite movie?
14. HP nicknames with friends?

So you see, there are lots of things you can write about!

As this is just about sending a letter, please give a rating of 5 as long as you get a letter. By all means, give hearts if someone includes something special, or just really impresses you. Newbies are welcome with full profiles. This swap is international. If you mention the 7th book, please write it on a different sheet in case of spoilers, and make a note of it so that your partner can avoid it if they haven't finished yet.
