Description:

Pretty Apron and Cooking Gadget Swap - US Only

Welcome to my first swap! As I was cooking bacon and ruined another shirt for the umpteenth time, I realized that I want an apron. Not any kind of apron, though, a pretty, girly apron. I like to sew so why haven't I made one for myself? I need some motivation! And what better motivation than to get a cute kitchen gadget with it?

Here's da rules:

  1. You will send one swap parter an apron. You are encouraged to make it, since aprons are quick and easy. You can purchase one if you can't sew - but make sure it isn't a plain jane apron that a man would wear.

  2. You will find a cute, small kitchen gadget to go with it. Dont send a wooden spoon, or something common. You should spend about $5 on it and it should be small. If you want to keep it for yourself, that is what you should be sending!

  3. That's it! For hearts, maybe include a recipe or second kitchen gadget.

This will be a USA only swap to save on postage. If you have a history of no sends, don't bother signing up because I will ban you. Do not sign up if your ratings are less than 4.5. Newbies are welcome with a filled out profile and a reference from somewhere else such as ebay.

I like this idea too, but I can't sew. Blah. I always get flour all over me!

It's okay if you can't sew, if you know where to find a pretty apron, you can buy one too.

This is a wonderful idea! I love aprons- mostly for gardening as the "Queen" rarely cooks- and mine are all utilitarian :)
