Easy does it! Use one tag with a spring theme and one with a free theme. Tags should be 3x4, at least! Don't be too particular about the size. Sometimes library/school have dye cuts you can use that may be different measures, you can use them! Make 2 for your partner. Start now!

I have made lots of tags, but what is an altered tag? How it that different from a regular tag? (I have made ones like the type used in scrapbooking, etc)

Think altered book! Generally in a scrapbook you don't embellish the embellishment to excess. When you do an altered tag you can go overboard. Do excess, because the tag is the focal point, not the page. Does that help? It's really fun!

Rubyfreckles, Check out my blog page here - ATCs are first but the tags are toward the bottom: http://countryfrogcreations.blogspot.com/2010/02/red-lead-very-vintage-and-objects-of-my.html

I can't find tags like these any where. I went to Michaels and they were sold out. I really want to try this. I love doing ATC's.Should I order online?

You can make tags out of file folders, chipboard, cardstock. . . anything that has some body, and to any size that you like. Angle cut the top and punch a hole. . . it's a tag!

Ooo! You all are so good!! Making tags can also be done with a die cut. Use all the fibers you want in the hole! More fun!
