Description:
We, the crap queens with the hyper-sensitive noses, will each make one ATC using things we turn our noses up at. These include, but are not limited to: stinky grungeboard, smelly Fabritac, whiffy dried up balls of E6000, toxic nail polish or whatever other smelly crap you have on hand. Messy alcohol inks earn you hearts if you send a photo of your color stained fingers as extras. haha, just kidding. Only solid requirement is that we HAVE to use a piece of grungeboard someplace on our ATC, so we at least use up one piece of that stinky crap from our stash and can say it is no longer "new in the package". Also, write a little note that explains what supplies were used that were stinky, because hopefully the ATC itself won't stink. The final product hopefully will not be too stinky that we have to quaranteen and set fire to our mailboxes.

ok, pieces parts... i'm really looking forward to going through my craft supplies like a bloodhound sniffing for a missing person! sniff, sniff, sniff.... erm... poly clay, certain card stocks, utee (imho), spray enamel... hmmm... maybe i'll finally get out that soldering iron i got a few years ago. i bet that has an odor while heating...

ooh great ideas, I own all that crap already too, and shrinky dinks.

if our ATCs get so thick that they are more like 3-D pieces, we can display them on a stand up type of support for on a shelf, desk etc. Or attach a picture hanger even to hang it on the wall or cork board etc.

Ok, we need to wear respirators for this.

oooh, Envirotex. I got some last year, I remember HAVING to have it right away for something or other...then never opened it, heh. I bet it is REALLY stinky.

hmmm... must research this.. envirotex.... (lol. don't ya love those 'gotta haves' you never open? soldering iron, mini drill, mini iron... beeswax... beeswax smells too good for this though....maybe we should have a 'finally opening it' atc swap later...lol).

ooh yes, the never opened it swap. That would be great. I do hope to open some stinky things this time around though. I want to make you a glass like finish, but then that wouldn't work once I pile on all the 3D crap. Decisions decisions...

Having a nice sunny day today so can do stinky things outside. Whew I stunk up my craft room with just a couple swipes of nail polish. Can't believe how fast this month is going.

ok, this thing is getting lumpy. How fun to play with all this crap. But whew, it stinks, I hope the smelly nail polish will air out before I send, that is the one thing that reeks the worst. Also heat gun on grungeboard enhances the aroma, eeewww! What a fun swap. Defininitely do it outdoors if possible, or by an open window !!

I'm torn. not sure which smelled worse... the E-6000, or the epoxy resin... mine didn't end up chunky, as i changed direction at the last minute...

oooh you got the resin?? I didn't use mine (as you could see) but if we do the "never opened it" swap I can! We could run that swap in NTP. Trying to drum up activity in that group.
